10th Global Congress on Process Safety

March 30 - April 2, 2014

From its initial meeting in 2005, the Global Congress on Process Safety has grown into the world's largest gathering of process safety experts. Presented by the Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) and the AIChE Safety & Health Division, this annual events drew more than 1100 attendees from around the globe to its last meeting (9th GCPS) in San Antonio.

In the fall of 2013 Banholzer joined the University of Wisconsin following a 30-year career in industrial research.  At UW Banholzer has appointments in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department, Chemistry Department, the Wisconsin Institute of Discovery, and the Wisconsin Energy Institute. Jordan Barab

Jordan Barab joined OSHA as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Labor for Occupational Safety and Health on April 13, 2009.

He previously served as Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA from 1998 to 2001, when he helped the Agency to promulgate the ergonomics workplace safety and health standard that was repealed by Congress in March 2001.

For the House Education and Labor Committee, he was Senior Labor Policy Advisor for health and safety from 2007 to April 2009.

Bea Ponnudurai

Dr Bea has 30 years of working experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. She has a PhD in Chemistry and currently holds the position of Head, Group HSE Division for PETRONAS as of March 2012. 

She joined PETRONAS in 1992 heading areas in Laboratory Management, Quality and HSE Management in a PETRONAS Petrochemical company followed by 6 years as Head for HSE Audit at the Group HSE Division.
