Dr Bea has 30 years of working experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. She has a PhD in Chemistry and currently holds the position of Head, Group HSE Division for PETRONAS as of March 2012.
She joined PETRONAS in 1992 heading areas in Laboratory Management, Quality and HSE Management in a PETRONAS Petrochemical company followed by 6 years as Head for HSE Audit at the Group HSE Division. She was General Manager, HSE Strategy & Performance at the Group level before taking up the position of General Manager HSEQ and Director of Engen Petroleum Ltd, a PETRONAS subsidiary in South Africa for a period of 4 years.
Her current position oversees Health, Safety, Environment and Corporate Sustainability for the PETRONAS Group.
