From its initial meeting in 2005, the Global Congress on Process Safety has grown into the world's largest gathering practitioners from industry, regulatory bodies and academia. Presented by the Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) and the AIChE Safety & Health Division, this annual event now draws attendees from around the globe.

30th Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS)

The Center for Chemical Process Safety International Conference (CCPS) is one of four parallel symposia that comprise The Global Congress on Process Safety (GCPS). Organized by volunteers from industry and academia, the CCPS conference promotes process safety by identifying emerging process safety issues and advancing leading process safety management practices.

49th Annual Loss Prevention Symposium (LPS)

The Loss Prevention Symposium (LPS) is one of four parallel symposia that comprise The Global Congress on Process Safety. Organized by Group 11A of the AIChE Safety and Health (S&H) Division, the LPS has been held annually since 1967.

Al Sacco

Professor Sacco received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University; and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from MIT. He was appointed and served as the George A. Snell Distinguished Professor of Chemical Engineering at Northeastern University from 1997-2010 when he became the Dean of the Whitacre College of Engineering in 2011.  From 1978-1997 he was a tenured professor at WPI and was Department Head from 1989-1997. Shakeel Kadri

Shakeel Kadri earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering at the Dharmsinh Desai Institute of Technology of Gujarat University in India. Shakeel earned his master’s degree in chemical engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an MBA at La Salle University.
