In today’s workplace, non-chemical engineers are increasingly expected to actively participate in projects, scale-ups and process evaluations alongside chemical engineers. A solid understanding of the basic concepts of chemical engineering analysis, design and calculations is required in order to do so effectively.  Join chemical engineering experts in this four-day overview of the fundamentals of chemical engineering to enhance your ability to understand, communicate and work with chemical engineers.

Gain an understanding of chemical engineering

In four days, you’ll gain knowledge to allow you to hold your own in discussions on safety, industrial hygiene and reactive chemicals. You’ll develop an understanding of the basics of fluid flow/mixing, heat transfer, distillation/separations and reaction engineering. You’ll also get up-to-speed on solids handling, polymerization and process control. Through actual industrial examples and hands-on exercises, you’ll reinforce the concepts you learn so you can apply them in your workplace when collaborating with chemical engineers.
