Pre-Conference Courses

The pre-conference workshop, CCPS’ New Approach to Metrics is a great precursor to the 8th Latin American Conference on Process Safety in Buenos Aries, Argentina. It will be presented by Louisa Nara, Nestor Sposito, Orlando Acosta and Christa Pennino of CCPS. The workshop will include a focus on process safety metrics, the interrelationship between CCPS metrics and the second edition of API 754 and CCPS tools including: PSIE, SAChE, PSID and RAST. Links will be provided to access free CCPS tools and to obtain a copy of the new CCPS Metrics Publication “CCPS Process Safety Metrics – Guide for Selecting Leading and Lagging Indicators”.
Gretel D’Amico of Pluspetrol will present the interrelationship between Culture and Metrics, and Chris Hawkes of the International Oil & Gas Producer Association (IOPG) will share their metrics focus. In addition, Pablo Ferragut, ARPEL will present the results of a Process Safety Metrics Survey recently done by ARPEL.
This will be a very informative event. Please join us.
