The Risk Based Process Safety Management System has several management elements that target a facility’s performance in controlling identified risks.
This module will examine four of those elements: Management of Change, Emergency Management, Operational Readiness, and Conduct of Operations. Each of these elements will be described in detail and numerous case studies will illustrate how deficient practice of the elements has led to unwanted safety incidents.
Greg developed his technical capabilities over a 35 year career at Pfizer Inc., first as a manager for ten years in the Brooklyn manufacturing facility, overseeing the production of synthesis and fermentation based food additives and antibiotics, and then as a design engineer and project manager in the corporation's Global Engineering Department.
