Production and monetization of ultra-low carbon intensity (CI) Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) by utilizing commercialized biomass gasification and Fischer-Tropsch conversion pathways. The process pathway utilizes sustainable biomass feedstock, renewable biomass power, biomass gasification and Fischer-Tropsch synthesis, with point source carbon capture and storage in a fully integrated plant to produce carbon negative ASTM-D7566 renewable synthetic paraffinic kerosene.
Joshua Pearson is a technical expert having spent over 25 years in process engineering and operations of biomass conversion technologies including gasification, Fischer-Tropsch, and complex biorefinery and industrial processes. Currently Mr. Pearson is a Principal Investigator, Subject Matter Expert, and serving as the Chief Technology Officer for Pathway Energy LLC. Mr. Pearson has 8 US Patents issued. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering & Petroleum Refining and MS in Environmental Engineering & Science, both from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden Colorado. Mr. Pearson is the Chairman Emeritus for Process Industry Practices a global Engineering Standards organization.
