SoCalGas: The (Hydrogen) Gas Company?

Abstract Description:

California’s goal is to reach 100% carbon neutrality by 2045 and SoCalGas will be instrumental in helping our state get there. SoCalGas' mission is to build the cleanest, safest and most innovative energy company in America. In support of that mission, SoCalGas aspires to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions in its operations and delivery of energy by 2045. We are exploring several pathways to support this energy transition including hydrogen blending, dedicated hydrogen pipelines, and hydrogen fueling stations. This presentation will review these activities and the work being done by the Research, Development, & Demonstration group to enable a clean energy future for California.
