Managing Human Reliability

This 60-minute program will give you an overview of the impact of human factors on operator performance and systematic safety based on the Abnormal Situation Management Consortium research.  Join the live discussion on how to avoid the escalation of minor problems that could lead to larger incidents or production losses.  Our expert will also cover how to recognize human factor issues in your company or manufacturing site and ways to address them.

The Abnormal Situation Management Consortium has been researching and testing solutions to assist process industry operators for 25 years. It started as a joint US government-industry research partnership to drive down the risk of incidents and to improve operating performance with its initial focus on Alarm Management and development of an “Operator Cockpit”. Approximately $45million has been spent researching best practices in seven areas.

Attend the webinar to learn more about reducing operating risk and improving performance.

You Will Learn:

  • How simple human factors measures can combat issues with:
  • Situation awareness
  • Operator overload
  • Operator decision bias
  • Operator fatigue and more
