SAChE® Certificate Program – Risk Based Process Safety - Commit to Process Safety

This course will introduce students to the group of management elements residing in the “Commit to Process Safety” block of the CCPS Risk Based Process Safety system. It will provide an overview of five elements which facilitate an organization’s adoption of a process safety management system. These elements, in many ways, characterize the concept of “buy-in” to process safety. The course will examine the importance of an organization’s process safety culture in the effectiveness of its process safety management efforts. The function of each of these elements will be illustrated by the use of a number of real world case studies.
