CCPS Permissions

CCPS books and web content are copyrighted materials of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Use of these materials are subject to United States and International Copyright law. Those interested in using content from a CCPS book can follow the permission guide on AIChE's permissions page for books or download a CCPS Copyright Request Form.

Permission is not required for uses permitted by copyright law, such as making or printing a single copy of a page for personal use. In addition, the following documents may be used and circulated freely for non-commercial purposes, subject to acknowledgement of CCPS as author and publisher and AIChE as copyright owner:

  • The Process Safety Beacon: May be printed and circulated, e-mailed, and linked to from web pages.
  • Process Safety Leading and Lagging Metrics: Copies and excerpts may be incorporated into internal corporate metrics reporting standards, subject to (a) Acknowledgement of the source (CCPS," Process Safety Leading and Lagging Metrics", AIChE, New York, 2009) and (b) Providing hyperlink to and/or web address of the original document. For all other uses, contact CCPS for permission.
  • CCPS public website content: May be linked to from web pages
  • CPS member-restricted website content: May be linked to from the corporate Intranet sites of CCPS members in good standing
