This presentation is about achieving improved spray performance by better integrating the operational requirements, key fluid properties, and spray nozzle capabilities. 

Sprays are crucial to the process performance of many chemical, biochemical and petrochemical processes. The technology is often hidden inside process equipment. Finding the systems that economically deliver the required performance over the entire range of operations is the objective,

Process applications often involve spraying liquids with varying density, viscosity and surface tension. All of these properties impact the spray performance. The environment of the spray itself varies with pressure, gas composition, and velocity which influence the application characteristics.
