This course covers the fundamentals of combustible dust and its hazards. By way of introduction, several significant case histories are presented, which leads into a detailed presentation on dust hazard recognition, factors which contribute to dust hazards, how to evaluate and quantify these hazards, and what methods are commonly applied to both prevent the occurrence, and mitigate the impact of combustible dust explosions.
