AIChE Chem-E-Car Safety Training – Teams

New eLearning System Now Live

A new eLearning System was launched on Friday, December 12th. Please note: Any courses that were incomplete prior to launch will need to be restarted. The Safety Training Course & Quiz below was coordinated by AIChE Membership Staff and the AIChE Chem-E-Car Competition® Committee. This course will outline the safety rules of the competition and will prepare participants for the Onsite Safety Inspection at the competition.

  • Background and definitions involved in the AIChE Chem-E-Car Competition®
  • Chemical and Pressure Hazards, identification and Safety Hierarchy
  • Know overall design expectations, Engineering Documentation Package (EDP) and Management of Change (MOC) documents

All participants in an AIChE Chem-E-Car Competition®  (student and faculty member) must take and pass the AIChE Chem-E-Car Safety Training Course & Quiz with a minimum score of 80%.

  • Relevant definitions to Chem-E-Car
