Though hydraulic fracturing is far from new technology, shale gas development utilizing fracking currently faces mounting regulatory scrutiny at federal and state levels, along with new proposed rules, permitting policies, best practices, and more public participation in the administrative process.

To assist shale gas developers in responding to recent developments in shale gas production air emissions regulation, policy and best practices, AIChE and the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) have joined forces to create a 90-minute summary of these developments and provide discussion regarding compliance strategies.
