This short introduction to the basics of Six Sigma highlights the most important features of this methodology and summarizes the major variants in use by industry.
The main part of the webinar focuses on Six Sigma protocols and tools that are most useful for the practicing chemical engineer. This information is relevant to all chemical engineers, regardless of whether the individual’s organization has implemented an official Six Sigma program. The remainder of the webinar provides specific examples from real life cases.
Dr. George Liebermann
Dr. George Liebermann is the Senior Engineering Fellow at the Xerox Research Centre of Canada, where he has held various senior scientific and managerial positions since 1981. He is recognized by the international technical community as a chemical engineering process research and scale-up expert, whose work has yielded more than 40 U.S. patents. In 1997, he was presented with the Xerox President’s Award, the company’s highest honor.
