The original presentation of this webinar was translated from English to Spanish on December 12, 2011 by Raquel Carvallo. Raquel is a multilinqual process engineer and scientific researcher with a Bachelor’s, Masters’ and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering. Raquel has taught Reacting Systems, Heat Transfer, Transport Phenomena, and Introduction to Chemical Engineering and was the Research Coordinator for the Chemical Engineering Department at UNEXPO-Venezuela.
This short introduction to the basics of Six Sigma highlights the most important features of this methodology and summarizes the major variants in use by industry.
The main part of the webinar focuses on Six Sigma protocols and tools that are most useful for the practicing chemical engineer.
