Our capacity to understand the key trends that will shape the future of chemical engineering will determine how we need to prepare ourselves personally and professionally. Hank will discuss the key role of science and technology as well as how we may need to change the way that we look at our careers and the skills we will need for future success. He will also discuss how AIChE is changing to support the profession of chemical engineering and its members.


Henry T. Kohlbrand

Henry T. Kohlbrand is a chemical industry management and technology consultant. He recently retired from a 36-year career at The Dow Chemical Company where he worked in a variety of senior leadership roles in R&D; Manufacturing; Environmental, Health & Safety; and Sustainability. He has led global teams in areas ranging from process technology to new business development to intellectual asset management. Hank served on the Board of Directors of AIChE and was the 2010 President of AIChE. He has also provided leadership to a number of non-profit boards and organizations.Read more
