Conducting life science research? Get guidelines for publishing ethically and effectively.
In 60 minutes, you’ll learn how members of the American Physiological Society, AIChE/SBE and the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (BMES) teamed up for a project supported by the National Science Foundation. Together they developed a set of guidelines and instructive modules that cover all aspects of the rules of the road for publishing effectively and ethically. This webinar will share the essentials of what this working group developed. You’ll learn how to identify and avoid the misuse of editorial and reviewing resources, present data effectively, determine authorship rights, and more. By the end of the webinar, you’ll be better equipped to lessen potential problems in research groups, plan your work, and clarify your latitude and responsibilities for raising issues as a reviewer.
