There is a crucial question that has room for a lot discussions. How small is really small? The idea of this paper is to cover a series of cloud sizes and their impact to determine how small of a cloud we should really be detecting in order to avoid damages to structures and personnel. There is a lot of different discussions in the industry about what clouds we should be detecting. The main idea of this paper is to determine the size and the impact from them in order to determine what sizes we should look after in order to design effectively and optimize our gas detector layout.
