The mission of the Advanced Manufacturing and Processing Society (AMPs) is to promote education, research and community outreach in the field of manufacturing and processing sciences and engineering. AMPs seeks to provide information, education and technology that is on the forefront of science and engineering that promotes global manufacturing supply chain cost and energy use reductions.

• Provide opportunities for the successful interaction between scientist, engineers, companies, academia, and government to aid in setting the future investment in the global manufacturing supply chain.

• Provide an array of value-added products and services to the manufacturing science and engineering community in the form of publication, education services and technical programming.
