Excursion Information
The schedule for the excursion on Friday, 09/30 goes as follows:
2:30 PM Bus leaves, drives 1.5 hours along coast
4:00 PM Excursions begin
Option 1 Water Activity (Pier jumping/canoeing) $70.00
Option 2 Boat Tour (Boat around the Connemara coast) $70.00
option 3 Hike (Small hike/walk along the coast of Connemara) $50.00
7:00 PM Travel to traditional Irish Pub (1 drink included)
9:00 PM Drive back to Galway
Hotel Information
COBRA will take place at the Galway Bay Hotel. Our hotel sleeping block has elapsed, please use the hotel email to book your room and inquire about availability: Reservations@galwaybayhotel.com
- Registration includes admission to all sessions, breaks, and networking events.
- Rates: Member rate applies to IMES Members.
Group registration is available with a 15% discount for groups of 5 or more participants of the same affiliation (e.g., universities, research institutes or companies). This offer does not apply to undergraduate students. Email Jonaa@aiche.org for registration.

Online registration and payment are processed using a credit or debit card in USD. To pay with a bank transfer contact customerservice@aiche.org.
This event is scheduled to be fully in-person. No virtual access portion will be available. We cannot wait to meet with you all at Galway Bay Hotel, Galway, Ireland.
Visa Procedures
U.S. visa procedures have been changing. If you are planning to attend an AIChE Meeting and will need a visa, we encourage you to visit the U.S. Visa Policy Web Page for updates on visa procedures and applications. Please allow ample time for visa processing.

If you require a visa or invitation letter, please send the following information to invitationletters@aiche.org:
- Name of event
- Proof of registration
- Full Name
- Company/University
- Address
- Any additional necessary information, such as passport or identification information
Letters will be sent via email as PDFs and will contain general event information such as dates and venues. If more specific event information is required, please let us know.
Certificates and Professional Development Hours (PDH)
You will be able to request or download a letter or certificate of participation after the meeting has concluded. There are two ways to obtain these documents:

Registration Policy
AIChE's meeting registration policy is based on the premise that AIChE's conferences and meetings are amongst the most prestigious and best attended chemical engineering conferences in the world. Therefore, all participants, including speakers (invited or accepted through the Call for Abstracts), are expected to register and pay the appropriate registration fee.
