EP-NIR 2750i analyzers

The EP-NIR 2750i analyzers are designed to meet the demands of scientists and engineers working in biofuels, ambient air monitoring, stack gas analysis and specialty gases. Users can monitor processes in real time because the analyzer scans at a rate of 100 scans/s and achieves a spectral range of 128 photometric channels.

V-Cone flowmeter

Rugged and accurate, the all-purpose V-Cone flowmeter is ideal for many industrial processes, but especially those that separate gritty oil sands. Since large amounts of water and energy are required for mining tar sands, reliable flowmeters are crucial in controlling and optimizing extraction, separation and upgrading. This unit can operate in extreme process environments, such as measuring in dirty liquid, natural gas or steam media.

Stargate-O-Port valve

The Stargate-O-Port valve, a type of slide-gate valve or through-port valve, is characterized by having a well-guided blade that passes through both ends of the valve body. Constructed with a hole in the middle of this blade, these valves can process solids, liquids and gases within flow media. Designed to require neither lubrication nor maintenance, the valve can be used as a shut-off valve, flow control valve or a line blind. Even in a partially open position, the valve has a straight flow direction.

Vision570 programmable logic controller

The new Vision570 is a cost-effective and convenient programmable logic controller (PLC) with a built-in human-machine-interface (HMI) operator panel. Most notable for its 5.7-in. QVGA, 256-color thin-film transistor color touchscreen display, the controller also features on-board I/O options and built-in recipe capability. The controller can use over 1,000 displays and hundreds of highly detailed color images in a single application.

Infrared Thermometers

Featuring enhanced optics, the user-friendly infrared thermometers provide accurate readings over a broad range of temperatures from –26°F to 1,400°F. All models are simple to use, with °C/°F selectable temperature, laser-point sighting and large, easy-to-read displays. The devices allow temperature measurement from a distance without contacting the object to be measured.

ST75V air/gas flowmeter

In a space-saving and cost-effective design, the ST75V air/gas flowmeter takes highly accurate and reliable mass-flow readings for hydrogen, natural gas and other gases commonly used in chemical processing, electric power, food and beverage, and oil and gas applications. Built-in flow conditioning eliminates media disturbances and reduces pipe straight-run needs by up to 70%, thus making the meter ideal for applications with limited space or configured with insufficient upstream/downstream straight-pipe run.

Wireless Valve Monitoring System

This wireless system enables complete monitoring of all kinds of valves inside a processing plant. Capable of fitting into newly installed valves or being retrofitted into existing ones, the wireless system provides plant operators with a comprehensive picture of real-time performance. Generating immediate reports of system irregularity, it increases plant safety and reduces maintenance costs. The system complies with ATEX, SP-100 and wireless HART.

Network Recovery Switches

An advanced level chipset enables a new generation of switches to reduce the downtime of network recovery to under 10 ms — guaranteed. The chipset provides real-time redundancy for all kinds of ring applications. In addition to recovery, the switches help maintain the system by performing fault detection, indication and immediate troubleshooting. The system is controlled with an enhanced MS Windows-based management utility that also serves to detect network topology and connectivity

857 Series signal conditioning and relay modules

The 857 Series, also known as JUMPFLEX, is a new family of 6-mm wide, DIN rail mount, signal conditioning and relay modules. Offering good aesthetics in the control cabinet, the modules have a common profile to share accessories, such as jumpers. The modules’ push-in jumper system, available in red, white and blue color designations and with two to ten poles, facilitates both time and cost savings. The system also includes pre-marked modules for easy circuit identification, a marking tag holder for module identification and a built-in indicator for power or signal status.

SenseLine detector

The SenseLine detector is based on open-path gas detection (OPGD) using enhanced laser-diode spectroscopy (ELDS) technology. This eliminates the risk of false alarms by providing significantly better sensitivity for flammable gases and low ppm-level toxic-gas detection. This detector can pick up signs of a gas leak early enough so that work can be done to eliminate the danger.
