M-110P Microfluidizer processor

The plug-and-play M-110P Microfluidizer processor operates reliably, quietly and efficiently at process pressures up to 30,000 psi. It requires only a standard electrical outlet and can be easily incorporated into any laboratory setting. It is a benchtop machine that requires no compressed air or cooling water for hydraulics. The processor uses the manufacturer’s fixed-geometry diamond interaction-chamber tech_nology and a ceramic plunger, enabling the production of nanosuspensions and nanoemulsions, as well as liposomal encapsulation and cell disruption, with relatively few passes.

NIST-traceable calibration package

This complete NIST-traceable calibration package is comprised of nonintrusive calibration accessories that have been designed for the manufacturer’s inline UV sensors AF45 and AF46. Similar to features afforded to spectro_photometer calibrations, these filters test: photometric accuracy and linearity, with an absorbance up to 2.4 available; stray radiant energy or blocking, which is the most important test in measuring photometrics; and wavelength verification and spectral stability, which ensures measurement consistency.

Microbial Identification

State-of-the-art microbial identification is performed via comparative DNA sequen_cing and the company’s MicroSeq technology. This genomics-based approach is accurate and rapid, taking less than 24 h to determine the source of microbial contamination to the species level. Other services offered include USP microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and analytical testing.

IND226x weighing terminal

The IND226x weighing terminal has an IP66-protected stainless steel housing that allows it to withstand very tough operating and cleaning conditions in chemical and pharmaceutical facilities. The terminal features a seven-segment LED display and is equipped with a mountable IND serial data interface and ACM200 interface converter, which enable its connection to PCs or printers via an RS232 interface. Its various power-supply options allow it to be used in a wide range of applications, including mobile weighing with a rechargeable battery.

A2 pressure transmitter

The A2 pressure transmitter is available in both intrinsically safe and explosionproof configurations. The explosionproof version has a compact UL- and ATEX-listed enclosure, while the intrinsically safe configuration is CSA- and FM-approved for both Class 1, Div.1 and Class 1, Div. 2 (non-incendive) applications. At 1-in.-dia. and less than 5-in. long, the A2 carries the CE mark for EMI/RFI immunity. Pressure ranges from 0–5 through 0–10,000 psi are available with accuracies of ±0.5% and ±0.25% of full span, for operating temperatures of –40°C to +125°C.

Operator Interface Mountings

These operator interface mountings and systems are engineered to improve efficiency, ease of use, and cleanability in sensitive pharmaceutical environments. Their durability and superior construction reduce data inaccuracies and unnecessary downtime. The Pharmaceutical Suite-Station is of NEMA 4X stainless steel construction and crevice-free design, which allows the unit to fit entirely into the confines of a shallow wall. The in-wall design allows access to interior components without compromising the wall seal.

SureCross wireless network

The SureCross network is an all-in-one packaged wireless solution with plug-and-play functionality. It consists of at least one gateway controller and one or more remotely located nodes, which can be connected to both digital and analog I/O points. Depending on the configuration, each gateway can support up to 15 nodes and each node can accommodate up to 12 I/O points. SureCross offers bidirectional Rx/Tx communications with reliable performance capabilities that provide monitoring and control in processing applications.

Control 4000

The Control 4000 is a microprocessor-based, photometric converter with an advanced modular design that enables precision process monitoring and control. This flexible converter is designed for use with the manufacturer’s ultraviolet (UV), visible (VIS), near-infrared (NIR) absorption-based and scattered-light-based sensors. The new high-contrast graphic display shows absorbance, transmittance and concentration in real-time and in any unit of measure, such as CU, ppm, EBC, FTU, and g/L. These measurements may also be displayed as text, bar graphs or trend values.

FM-75 laboratory mixer/dryer

The FM-75 laboratory mixer/dryer is constructed from stainless-steel, allowing for easy disassembly and cleaning.  The unit provides the process industries with a scalable solution to go from bench-top development to plant production. The jacket is designed for heating and cooling and is rated at 90 psig at 330°F. With a 5-, 7-1/2- or 10-hp single-speed motor, the mixer has enough power for even the most demanding lab applications. Charging is accomplished through a charging door. A high-speed 5-hp chopper is available.

Contivac NDP processor

The Contivac NDP processor can provide a reduction in residence time by up to 500 times for many pharmaceutical/food applications in which batch dryers have conventionally been applied. Residence time, even with moderate process temperatures, can produce unwanted side reactions and color changes. In addition to better product quality, the quick response time of the Contivac thin-film dryer reduces manpower and reduces or eliminates product storage.
