Speaker Support - Junior Researchers
The IMES provides financial support to enable the wide participation of a diverse ME community. With the goal of removing, as much as possible, finances as a barrier to participation, requests for support are being welcomed, within the following guidelines:
Applicant must:
- Be a PhD student or postdoctoral researcher at time of application and conference
- Provide one reference from advisor or senior colleague
- Develop basic itemized budget. Funding may be requested for all expenses deemed necessary for conference participation, including registration with shared accommodation, travel and local transport, and others.
- Fill out application form, including statement of interest
- Applicants from economically disadvantaged situations are welcomed to apply. A higher budget does not negatively impact your application, though applicants are asked to first seek funding (including partial) from their own institutions.
