GLV-F explosion vent

The GLV-F explosion vent can be mounted on conveyors and grain elevators where dust builds up. During an explosion, it opens to release pressure and minimize damage. It has a built-in outlet frame and gasket that eliminate the need to fabricate an angle-iron hold-down frame, making it easy to install. It meets the requirements of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 61 for the prevention of fires and dust explosions in agricultural and food-processing facilities. It is available with an alarm sensor for automatic system shutdown after an explosion.

Poolmaster Series butterfly valves

Poolmaster Series butterfly valves feature a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) body and a disc with an ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) liner. The valves are not vulnerable to electrolytic and galvanic corrosion, and they contain no byproducts that can contaminate water and process fluids. Unlike other plastic butterfly valves, these are constructed from a one-piece body that incorporates fully supported flanged bolt holes to prevent stressing of the mating pipe flanges.

J Series solenoid valve

The J Series solenoid valve has a pilot-assist design that requires only a 3-psi differential on either side of the valve and that provides high flowrate with minimal pressure loss. To meet the needs of various applications, models are available that fail open or fail closed upon power outage. For example, a valve used on a reactor would be set to fail open to avoid pressure buildup, whereas a valve used in a filling line would fail closed. The valve’s cycle speed is 0.25 ms in either direction. The series is available in a two-way configuration in sizes of 0.375 in.

Clampseal fire-safe valve

The Clampseal fire-safe valve is equipped with a vent drain instead of the standard bull-plug and screwed-cap designs commonly found on other valves. The vent drain provides secondary containment, as well as pressure-purge, no-spill gravity drainage. The valve contains a simple mechanism that compensates for thermal expansion, and is available in Y, A and T configurations in sizes ranging from 0.5 in. to 4.0 in. The valves are manufactured to meet the ISO 9001-2000 standard.

Noble Alloy swing check valve

The Noble Alloy swing check valve resists corrosion and performs reliably in severe-service chemical applications. Because the redesigned valve is forged, it weighs 45% less than the previous cast version and provides improved bonnet-seal performance. The valve has a recessed hinge pin that is protected from the flow path, as well as an integral seat design and a high-integrity riveted disc assembly. The valve can be installed horizontally or vertically, and is available with soft or metal seating. It features multiple end connections and bolted-bonnet construction.

AXIOM Expeditor

The AXIOM Expeditor improves process performance and prevents damage to equipment in fill-control, flow-dampening, and thermal-shock-reduction applications. The device allows discrete automated valves to be easily upgraded to provide intermediate control. Its pneumatic solenoid technology requires no special bleed pilots or air filtration systems. The controller’s operation is simplified because its integrated control system permits valve cycling between fully open and fully closed, as well as intermediate control.

High-Flow Solenoid Valve

This high-flow direct-mount solenoid valve has a NAMUR mounting pattern and handles flowrates from 1.2 to 3.0 Cv. Its spring return allows fail-safe operation in the event of a power loss, and its screened exhaust nut protects valve function during outdoor use. It operates over a pressure range of 30–150 psi. At the higher pressures, the O-ring seal design increases sealing force, while at the lower pressures, this design provides less breakaway resistance. The valve is constructed of an anodized aluminum body with a stainless steel spool and internal parts are made of brass.

Series PCWS multi-function assembly

The Series PCWS — dubbed the “stick”— is a multi-function assembly that incorporates the features of a pressure regulator, pressure gage, and shut-off valve into a single unit. This construction eliminates the need for multiple joints and pipe sections, reducing installation costs. The all-thermoplastic stick is designed specifically for process cooling water, and can be used in a variety of applications where corrosion is an issue.

DAB Series all-plastic diaphragm valves

DAB Series all-plastic diaphragm valves are rated to 150 psi and provide excellent handling of difficult media, such as corrosive fluids, abrasives and slurries. They are suitable for use in high-purity and sanitary applications. They are available in manual or actuated (pneumatic or electric) models, and have a multi-turn design that enables precise control. Valve bodies are available in 0.5–6.0-in.-dia. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), 0.5–4.0-in. dia. chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC), 0.5–10.0-in.-dia. polypropylene (PPL), or 0.5–8.0-in.-dia. polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF).

Type 567 and Type 568 butterfly

Type 567 (wafer style) and Type 568 (lug style) butterfly valves are now available with large diameters (2–12 in. for Type 567 and 2–8 in. for Type 568). They feature a disc and liner made of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and seals made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) that provide excellent chemical resistance over a wide temperature range. Both valves have an operating temperature range of –20°C to 120°C (–4°F to 248°F), and can be electrically or pneumatically actuated. They also offer bidirectional capability and a high pressure rating of 150 psi.
