MCG 1800 level gage

The MCG 1800 is a non-contact, loop-powered level gage that employs state-of-the-art pulse radar technology. It is suitable for use in all process industries, including chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, water and wastewater treatment, food and beverage, and refining, among others. The gage features an on-board program setup wizard that simplifies calibration and walks the operator through five easy, interactive steps

Rotech encoder

The Rotech encoder protects equipment and personnel from dangerous underspeed and belt-slip conditions in extreme environments. It is constructed of heavy-duty stainless steel, and requires no guards, since its rotating components are encased inside the housing. The encoder is also suitable for speed control, rotation direction detection, gate position indication, and revolution counting applications. The unit is available in intrinsically safe and Class II Div. 1 versions.

Enviro checkweigher bench scale

The Enviro checkweigher bench scale withstands high-pressure, high-temperature washdown environments in the food and chemical industries. It is made from Type 304 stainless steel and features an IP69K-rated instrument, making it easy to sanitize. This feature helps prevent materials and moisture from forming colonization points for harmful bacteria, such as Salmonella, E. coli, and Listeria monocytogenes. Each scale has an ultra-thick overlay that resists punctures and abrasive cleaning agents.

825 Spectrum weight indicator

The 825 Spectrum weight indicator features 640 × 480-pixel resolution graphics on its interactive backlit touch-screen. The design makes data entry easy, since a color-coded QWERTY keyboard is included and the navigation keys bring up intuitive menus. It easily handles up to 10 scale cards, weighing 200 samples per second. This rate allows instantaneous gate cutoff, which is suitable for digital fill-control applications.

CentriFlow Meter

The CentriFlow Meter is a mass-flow metering device that measures dry solids continuously in a process, with accuracies of ± 0.25% for mixing, blending or ratio-control applications. It has the CentriView electronics option, which allows users to view process parameters and control common process functions such as batching and flow control, both as separate functions and in combination.

VibraRod high-level indicator

The VibraRod high-level indicator can handle bulk solids with densities as low as 3.12 lbs/ft3 (0.05 kg/dm3) and particle sizes up to 0.375 in. (9.5 mm). This sensor has a universal power supply (20–255-V AC/DC), allowing customers with various power supply requirements to specify a single part number for all of their different voltage requirements. The indicator’s single-element probe requires no calibration, and is available in a variety of configurations. This design helps eliminate false signals that typically exist when material builds up between the tines of tuning-fork-style probes.

ShaftAlign

ShaftAlign is a high-precision easy-to-use shaft-alignment tool with functions designed to reduce human error. Achieving precise alignment extends the lifecycle of bearings, seals and couplings and contributes to energy savings. The device features an intuitive auto-flow capability, which acts as a guide to obtaining the desired machinery alignment. In the active clock measurement mode, the device automatically collects laser coordinates for the corresponding shaft position. Operation requires only three readings over a rotation angle of less than 70 deg. to achieve a precision alignment.

Delta T moisture-control system

The Delta T moisture-control system now includes a water-activity control option that enables the user to maximize the moisture content of such products as pet food, animal feed, grain products, gluten, starch, distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS), and other foods, without exposing products to the dangers of mold or other harmful micro-organisms. Significant production increases, energy savings,  product quality and safety result from this feature.

MCT360 near infrared (NIR) transmitter

The MCT360 near infrared (NIR) transmitter is a high-quality sensor with an economical price. Its versatile design allows it to operate on its own or as part of a multi-point network. It can make three NIR measurements, plus a product temperature measurement, simultaneously. Used in a wide variety of powder and bulk applications, the MCT360 provides offline accuracy in an online instrument.

Turbo-Heat-Treater thermal processor

The Turbo-Heat-Treater thermal processor recovers mercury from powdered activated carbon (PAC), which is used to remove mercury from fluegases. The unit includes an internal electrical heating system to provide heat to remove residual mercury. A small purge of dry nitrogen is used to remove the vapor from the system, keeping fines carryover to a minimum. After processing, the stripped carbon can be reused as a sorbent many times, thus reducing the cost of PAC usage. The recovered mercury can be sold as a metal product. No secondary waste streams are generated with this technology.
