MVBB series single block-and-bleed needle valves

MVBB series single block-and-bleed needle valves have a small valve body. They perform calibration operations by providing controlled flow to high-pressure hydraulic and pneumatic systems through both shut-off regulation and diversion. DBB series double blockand-bleed needle valves are made from cold-worked stainless steel or from 17-4-H1075 (which is Type 630 alloy that has been heat-treated at 1,065°F to 1,085°F for 3.75–4.25 h). DBB valves are suitable for pressure monitoring, chemical injection, and drain-line-isolation applications.

Lab-Crest glass ball valves

Lab-Crest quarter-turn, full-port, glass ball valves are suitable for use in food, pharmaceutical and biotechnology process applications where contamination is a concern. Their wetted parts are constructed from chemically resistant borosilicate glass, alu-mina ceramic, and TFE, ensuring that the valves are effective in high-purity applications, even in environments where chemicals or gases are present. The valves operate at temperatures up to 490_C and pressures up to 100 psi. The carbon steel flanges can be easily mated to glass or metal piping systems.

A-713 angle valves

A-713 angle valves are soft-seated and self-centering. This design permits self-draining, which reduces the amount of trapped product left in the body after the valve is closed. The valves are constructed of corrosion-resistant materials, giving them maximum protection from materials such as wet chlorine. They are equipped with the capability for live-load valve-stem packing that provides constant force on the packing rings. This compensates for the packing wear and thermal expansion and contraction that normally result when flashing occurs in the system.

Valtek ShearStream SB segmented V-port ball control valves

Valtek ShearStream SB segmented V-port ball control valves have a rugged design that is cost-competitive. They feature standard metal and soft-seat options that provide tight shutoff for ANSI Class 150 and Class 300 service. The direct-mounted actuator allows for better control with fewer parts, and has a double-acting piston and precision linkage connection for accurate control and high-torque output.

Fast Pack valve/actuator combinations

The Fast Pack prepackaged combinations of valves and actuators boast an expedited delivery process. The manufacturer guarantees that orders will be sent out within 24 hours of being placed. Packages are available in a range of diameters, including 0.5-in. to 4-in. ball valves and 1.5-in. to 8-in. butterfly valves. Specific pairings and combinations will vary, and include electric ball valve, pneumatic ball valve, electric butterfly valve, and pneumatic butterfly valve packages.

Type 567 butterfly valve

The Type 567 butterfly valve is now available with a larger diameter in sizes up to 12 in. This corrosion-resistant valve uses a double-eccentric operating principle that offers improved wear and easier operation compared to traditional eccentric-style butterfly valves. This design requires less torque to operate the valve, facilitating manual operation and permitting the use of smaller, less-expensive actuators. Its off-center shaft allows the disc to completely disengage from the disc seal, even while partially open.

Type 546 ball valve

A unique ball design creates a gradual change in flow direction, unlike the sudden change typical with traditional ball-valve styles. With each turn, the flow increases or decreases linearly, rather than exponentially, which provides better control. The new ball design, available as an option of the new Type 546 ball valve, features all-plastic construction, with material choices that include polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated PVC, polypropylene and polyvinylidene fluoride. Manual and actuated versions are available in sizes from 1/2-in. to 2-in.

Superior Series 2000 Autovalve

The Superior Series 2000 Autovalve provides automatic flow proportioning, residual and compound loop control of chlorine, sulfur dioxide or ammonia gas, an advantage for water and wastewater treatment facilities with varying water flowrates and/or residuals. The valve has a simple menu-driven operator interface panel, and requires only a 4–20-mA signal from a water flowmeter and/or residual analyzer, a 120/240-VAC power supply, and a gas chlorinator, sulfonator or ammoniator. DR20 is a Compact, Lightweight Pressure-Reducing Valve

The DR20 is a compact, lightweight pressure-reducing valve for use with any small to moderate steam requirement. A flow-up design and a flat valve and plug arrangement promote secondary pressure stability. The stability augments the pressure-reduction capability to allow the DR20 to reach a turnover of 30:1, virtually eliminating the need for twostage pressure reduction. Stainless steel construction gives it durability and corrosion resistance for long service life, and a built-in screen ensures extended trouble-free operation.

ARMflow Venturi-Style Balancing Valves

Available in 1/2-in. and 3/4-in. models that can handle flowrates as low as 0.26 gal/min and 0.4 gal/min, respectively, these new ARMflow venturi-style balancing valves are significantly more accurate than conventional balancing valves. They require five full 360-deg. turns from open to closed, and their non-rising handle ensures that overall valve height remains the same from fully open to completely closed. They can be installed with the measuring ports facing up or down.
