Ena joined Ginkgo Bioworks in 2016 as its Chief Business Officer where she is responsible for executing strategic partnerships and transactions. A veteran in synthetic biology, Ena was previously SVP of the Consumer Sector at Intrexon, SVP of Business Development at Evolva, and VP of Business Development at Amyris. Prior to her career in synthetic biology, Ena held various business development and management roles at Pixar Animation Studios and BP plc. She holds an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
