The 2026 AIChE Spring Meeting & 22nd Global Congress on Process Safety will feature programming from Rice University's Alliance program on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 1:30 - 5:30 PM Central Time.
Attending the program is part of your 2026 AIChE Spring Meeting and 22nd GCPS Online Registration, and does not require any add-ons.
The sessions will invite attendees to learn about the innovation technologies that are coming out of the Rice Clean Energy Accelerator, Rice Nexus Incubator and other representatives of the RICE Alliance program. RICE Incubator: “From Lab to Launch” Startup Showcase (1:30-3:00 PM)

Introduction
This incubator-to-industry panel, focused on what it takes to commercialize technologies in the process industries. Join us for a moderated session with 4–6 panelists representing the Rice Clean Energy Accelerator, Rice Nexus Incubator and other representatives of the RICE Alliance program, alongside industry or founder perspectives. Panelists will each provide brief perspectives on topics such as scale-up and pilot challenges, IP and data readiness, execution risks, and effective engagement with large process companies, followed by a curated discussion.

RICE Incubator: Panel Discussion (4:00-5:30 PM)

Introduction
This “From Lab to Launch” startup showcase will feature 4–8 startup founders and key technical leaders who are at or beyond proof-of-concept, and have clear industrial applications with an emphasis on execution and deployment. Each startup will deliver a focused 15-minute presentation, offering industry a look at what’s coming next, and how to engage early.
The session will lead into a reception for attendees to learn more about opportunities with Rice, and the featured technologies.
