Keynote Address “Strengthening the Future of Manufacturing: Foundations in Safety to Growth"
Michelle joined Eastman in 1996 and has held leadership roles of increasing responsibility in engineering, technology and manufacturing, currently overseeing global manufacturing and operations support. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Georgia Tech, is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program, a licensed professional engineer, and author of several publications and industrial short courses. Michelle serves on the board of trustees for the AIChE Foundation and the corporate council for AIChE’s Center for Chemical Process Safety.
Eastman is a special materials company that leverages ethylene and propylene in a variety of chemical intermediates used to produce films and interlayers for the automotive industry, resins for high-performance medical devices, non-phthalate plasticizers, renewable PET products and other specialty additives.
