Ulrich Busk Hoff

Dr. Ulrich Busk Hoff is a Senior Adviser in quantum technology at the Department of Physics, Technical University of Denmark. He obtained his MSc in physics from the University of Copenhagen (2007) and PhD in physics from the Technical University of Denmark (2015). He is a co-PI of the Danish National Research Foundation center of excellence Center for Macroscopic Quantum States (bigQ) at DTU, where he conducts research in quantum cavity optomechanics, and member of the management team in two national quantum innovation projects on continuous variable QKD and photonic quantum computing. Ulrich is deeply engaged in the formation of a Danish quantum ecosystem and is a board member of the Danish Quantum Community. In addition, he is a very active and dedicated science communicator and co-author of 5 children’s books and 3 graphic novels on various scientific topics.
