Benjamin Knudsen is the general manager for BASF Enzymes, heads research for White Biotechnology in North America, and global enzyme research at BASF.
Prior to joining BASF, Benjamin was with Novozymes. Benjamin brings 17+ years of experience working with enzyme discovery and development, from different roles in R&D, manufacturing, and leadership in Denmark, Brazil and the U.S. Areas of expertise ranges from enzyme R&D, manufacturing, business and innovation strategy, building business collaborations, to site leadership. Benjamin earned his Master of Science degree from the University of Aalborg, Denmark with an emphasis on Industrial Biotechnology and Enzyme Technology in 2001.
