Model XR-41 X-ray inspection system

The Model XR-41 X-ray inspection system is designed to handle larger-than-typical packaged products in applications that require detection of foreign bodies of metal, glass, calcified bone, and polyvinyl chloride. It features stainless steel construction, a 15-in. color touch screen and auto set-up, and does not require frequent calibration. The system uses linear array technology for improved sensitivity and speed. The XR-41 has external connectors that can be networked as an SQL client with full remote support facilities.

Model 1056-HT (HART) and Model 1056-DP (Profibus) analyzers

Two new dual-input versions of the Rosemount Model 1056 analyzer, the Model 1056-HT (HART) and Model 1056-DP (Profibus), make increased use of centralized monitoring and control, sensor diagnostics, and other advanced digital capabilities. The HART-enabled analyzer allows remote calibration, continuous monitoring of four live process variables, and configuration from the manufacturer’s AMS Suite or DeltaV host applications, a legacy DCS, or a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system.

AutoBlend Complex Mixtures Generator

The AutoBlend Complex Mixtures Generator is a multi-channel, computer-controlled blending system that uses permeation tubes to create trace concentration gas mixtures. Component concentrations can be independently varied, rendering the instrument ideal for sensor testing and methods validation. During operation, the permeation tubes that are installed in each channel emit a small, precisely known flow of each component compound.

ProSafe-RS controllers

With an eye on the capital-intensive oil, natural gas, and petrochemical markets, this instrument maker has added optical remote control to its ProSafe-RS controllers. This new feature enables closer integration with the company’s Centum CS3000 R3 production control system. Typically, an instrument panel room and safety controller are installed in each process to monitor and operate safety field devices, such as emergency shutdown valves.

IntelliLogger

The IntelliLogger is a portable data-logging system with network-enabled data collection and retrieval for remote monitoring. HyperWare-II drop-and-drag programming enables the system to quickly creates program by connecting a series of program and process icons. With built-in Ethernet and web-serving capabilities, the new insrument allows the monitoring of equipment and the presentation of logger-acquired information via a web browser.

CoolPoint Totalizing Series vortex-shedding flowmeters

CoolPoint Totalizing Series vortex-shedding flowmeters measure, monitor, verify and control flows of water, water/glycol coolant and low-viscosity fluids. They are equipped with a totalizer that has a six-digit light emitting diode (LED), pulse output, and push-button selection for gal/min or L/min. Users can toggle between two totals, one running and one resettable. The flowmeters have no moving parts that can stick or become coated, and can process fluids that contain particles. They are available in 0.75-in., 1.0-in., 1.5-in., and 2.0-in.

TA-2048MB gas-detection digital Modbus rack-mount controller

The TA-2048MB gas-detection digital Modbus rack-mount controller features a 48-channel system, with three separate 16-channel Modbus networks. It has local or remote power supply options and four single-pole/single-throw (SPST) relays that are common to all channels on each network. It features a backlit 16-character by 2-line liquid crystal display, automatic scrolling that provides channel data and fault conditions, and simple front-panel, push-button channel setup. Its redundant storage of configuration parameters provides excellent system reliability.

microNCS Modbus remote terminal unit

The microNCS Modbus remote terminal unit (RTU) master and distributed input/output (I/O) system sends process signals between the field or factory floor and a control system. One or both Modbus RTU ports can be configured to poll other Modbus RTU slaves with all of the network polling functions of a typical Modbus master. This includes polling of up to 32 (without repeaters) microNCS stations. The unit can handle up to 64 slave devices when both Modbus RTU ports are in use.

Pilot Pro is a communications interface for process sample conditioning systems that provides a link between plant process control operations and analyzer maintenance networks, regardless of their locations. Consisting of a sensor and solenoid administration module, it acquires, transmits and manages real-time sample system information via an electronic interface, facilitating critical process control decision-making.

PTM-300 Series Pulse Timing Modules

The PTM-300 Series Pulse Timing Modules solve timing issues by providing precise timing control of proximity and photo-sensor output pulses in process control, conveyor and machine applications. The PTM-300 input circuitry automatically detects and determines signal polarity from any standard “open-collector” type sensor output, such as NPN (sinking) and PNP (sourcing). The timing module then produces a timed output with the same polarity.
