Side-Stream Assembly monitoring system

The Side-Stream Assembly monitoring system maximizes corrosion inhibitor efficiency, essentially paying for itself in about one year through savings on corrosion inhibitor costs. Installation is quick and does not require plant shutdown. The assembly includes multiple, easily connected 1-in. tees. Each tee can be specified with one of several corrosion management and process monitoring technologies, including: Microcor corrosion and erosion rate measuring, Corrater linear polarization resistance (LPR) and galvanic measuring, bio-probes, coupons, and process parameter measuring.

Supervision SAT lateral-launch pipeline inspection system

The Supervision SAT lateral-launch pipeline inspection system uses a steerable six-wheel drive to maneuver up to 300 ft down 6-in. or larger main lines. From there, it inserts its camera as far as 100 ft into 3.5-in. and larger lateral lines. Its auto-leveling color camera has shadowless illumination, and adjusts to view sidewall detail and distant targets by panning up to 360 deg. and tilting up to 90 deg. Auxiliary lamps and a backward-viewing camera enhance visibility in both directions.

ThermoVision A320G infrared camera

 The ThermoVision A320G infrared camera is designed for machine vision applications, and offers plug-and-play temperature measurement. 2D Microgage

The 2D Microgage performs precision measurement, machine alignment, calibration and other demanding industrial tasks. The tool is easy to set-up and use right on the factory floor. It combines a compact laser transmitter with a receiver and a digital display. As the laser moves across the receiver (either in a vertical or horizontal direction), the display provides a reading of the motion accurate to 0.0001 in. Its bright red beam is effective at distances exceeding 100 ft.

LANCOM 200 Portable Sulfuric Acid Dewpoint Monitor

The LANCOM 200 is a portable device for oil-fired and coal-fired boilers that require periodic monitoring of the sulfuric acid dewpoint temperature to maintain boiler efficiency, prevent corrosion, or evaluate fuel additive effectiveness and changes to combustion conditions. The monitor can take a measurement in just a few minutes and store up to 10,000 readings at a time. The generated data can be used to reduce fuel additive consumption and ensure maximum operating efficiency of electrostatic precipitators, and it helps to reduce acid fallout and aerosol (blue plume) emissions.

SC400 handheld Calorimeters

The SC400 handheld calorimeters are rugged, waterproof, single-parameter instruments designed for use in laboratory and field testing. Four types are available: chlorine ( free and total); chlorine dioxide; ammonia; and fluoride. The instruments feature easy four-button operation; a large back-lit, highly visible, indigo blue display; a real-time clock; and 16-set data logging capability. These features are superior to what is offered with most price-competitive units. The system also has a user-calibration mode that permits calibration with respect to prepared standards.

Traceable wide-range thermometer

The Traceable wide-range thermometer is suitable for measuring temperatures from –328°F to 2,498°F (–200°C to 1,370°C). Its stainless steel Type K thermocouple probe can be used with liquids, gases, or semisolids. Its backlit 0.5-in.-high liquid crystal display (LCD) is easy to read, even in poor lighting conditions. It features an instant recall of minimum and maximum readings. Data collected by the thermometer may be output to a computer or data logger for capturing and storing readings.

Liquiphant M density meter

By providing online measurements, the Liquiphant M density meter eliminates the need for extensive and expensive offline procedures and laboratory measurements. Online measurements allow control systems to react more quickly than when offline systems are used. The meter’s built-in density calculator can be customized by inputting complex tables and mathematical relationships. Its mechanically oscillating, two-tined fork is excited by a piezoelectric drive to resonant frequency, which changes whenever the fork is immersed in liquid.

SS4000M Series ultra-miniature universal load cells

SS4000M Series ultra-miniature universal load cells combine a transducer element with transducer-quality strain gages. They provide precision force measurements in tension and compression applications, such as materials testing, laboratory analysis, and R&D, with high accuracy and very low deflection under load. These compact cells are offered in a variety of tension/compression ranges, from 10 N up to 500 N, with 2 mV/V output. Depending on range requirements, they are manufactured from either high-strength alloy or stainless steel.

DK10 process flap flowmeter

The DK10 process flap flowmeter is available in a large selection of wetted construction materials, including aluminum, bronze, cast iron, stainless steel, polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Its shafts can be made of titanium, Hastelloy or plastic for processing aggressive liquids. The flowmeter is available with a choice of one or two alarm level outputs, as well as an analog 4–20-mA output. The flow in the line causes a spring-loaded flap mounted inside the unit’s hemispherical chamber to deflect by an amount that is directly proportional to the flowrate.
