2015 Process Development Symposium

Emerging Trends in Process Research
June 2-4, 2015

The 2015 Process Development Symposium is a place to exchange wisdom, knowledge, tips, and personal experiences in the development and scale-up of chemical and related processes. This year's symposium will take place in the greater Houston, TX area in early June and will focus on Process Research.

Online Registration is now closed. Please register onsite.

**Weather Update**

Over the weekend, Houston experienced severe flooding due to heavy rainfall across the area. Over the past few days, the water has receded and conditions are returning to normal. As such, the Process Development Symopsium will continue as planned. We are in constant contact with the hotel venue and will update all attendees should this change. Why PDS 2015?

Process Research is a wide-reaching and essential part of process development: from improving the safety, efficiency, and reliability of operations, to reducing costs or maximizing profits and minimizing environmental impact. With the continuous progress and innovation in process engineering techniques, it is important to consistently analyze and evaluate current research methods to best address the needs of an ever-expanding global arena.

This year’s symposium will feature speakers from the chemical engineering profession sharing their wisdom, knowledge, tips, and personal experiences related to the research and development of chemical processes. Topics will include those related to emerging trends in process research, ranging from process modeling and optimization to best practices in managing process research.

Pre-Symposium Welcome Reception

Join us for a welcome reception preceding the start of the symposium!

This reception provides a great opportunity and relaxed atmosphere to network with other engineers in the process development industry before technical sessions start the following morning.

Opening Keynote Address

The 2015 PDS Keynote will be delivered by David West, Corporate Fellow and General Manager of Corporate Research & Innovation, SABIC.
