Internships and Undergraduate Education: Reflections from Student Competition Finalists

For six years, VLS has hosted a student presentation competition around co-op and internship experiences.  Due to uncertainty about summer internships in 2020, this year’s September meeting will instead be a reflection from select finalists from previous years.  They will discuss the role that their co-op or internship played in their undergraduate education and post-graduation plans, as well as other reflections on undergraduate education and Institute activities.

Raj Bhuva is a Associate Consultant at Mastercard Data & Services, who graduated in 2020 from University of Pennsylvania, Clayton Brandenburg is a Project Engineer at PinnacleART, who graduated in 2018 from University of South Carolina and Morgan Bergstrom is a Engineer at Gates Corporation, who graduated from Colorado School of Mines in 2019 and also pursued an MS in Chemistry from University of Oregon
