Carol Maxwell is CEO and Co-Founder of MICROrganic Technologies, a company that manufactures Bio-Electrochemical systems for high energy-efficiency in Wastewater Treatment. After several years of R&D, the company is about to launch their first product – VIVA,TM MFC, a solution that offers process intelligence and energy-positive for Secondary Wastewater Treatment.
Her professional career began in Biomedical Engineering research, and then switched gears to pursue and MBA. For the past 35 years, Carol has worked in multiple business sectors, including Telecom, Banking, and Pharma, specializing in Marketing, Sales and Product Development.
