F&PD recognizes outstanding contributors to our industry and academia in the form of awards and also by giving scholarships to exemplary high school seniors to encourage them in their endeavors. Call for nominations are open, if you are interested in nominating someone for an award from the categories below, e-mail your nominations to F&PD’s Past Chair at fpdpastchair@aiche.org  before the deadline, please list the name of the award on your subject.

The Fuels and Petrochemicals Division Academic High School Scholarship

The Fuels and Petrochemicals Division of AICHE (F&PD) is pleased to sponsor two $1,000 one-time awards to exemplary high school seniors who plan on studying engineering or science. F&PD is committed to introducing high school students to careers in Fuels & Petrochemicals through its programs, helping to fuel the industry’s need for top talent in the future.

Professor M. Nazmul Karim Award in Process Control and Automation

In thanks for the generous personal contribution from Professor M. Nazmul Karim, the Fuels & Petrochemicals Division (F&PD) of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) is pleased to announce the Professor M. Nazmul Karim Award in Process Control and Automation. This award consists of a $500 honorarium and will be presented annually for the next 5 years starting in 2018.
