Christoph Hartmann

Professor Christoph Hartmann started his professional career as a mechanical engineer in the automotive industry in 1997. He joined the Nestlé Research Center in Lausanne in 2006, where he investigated the mechanisms of in-mouth food breakdown. He was the leader of the Global Flavor Expert Network.

Hongda Chen

Dr. Hongda Chen is the National Program Leader for Bioprocess Engineering and Nanotechnology at National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA), USDA. Dariush Ajami

Dariush Ajami, Ph.D., joined Beyond Meat in June 2015. Since July 2018, Dr. Ajami has been Chief Innovation Officer of Beyond Meat. He served as Director of Chemistry from June 2015 to August 2016, Director of Research from August 2016 to August 2017 and Vice President of Innovation from August 2017 to July 2018.

Dr. Luca Mastropasqua is currently a Senior Research Scientist at the University of California, Irvine's National Fuel Cell Research Center (NFCRC), a leader in studying electrochemical energy conversion systems for renewable hydrogen and fuel production, power generation, carbon capture, and low emission industrial processes. Dr. Jack Lewnard currently serves as a Program Director at the Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA‑E). His focus at ARPA-E is on methane production, distribution, and use.

Madhav Acharya

Dr. Madhav Acharya currently serves as a Technology-to-Market Advisor at the Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E), where he helps prepare innovative energy technologies for transition from the lab to the market. His focus at ARPA-E includes conversion of renewable energy into carbon neutral liquid fuels, low carbon cements and direct methane conversion to hydrogen and carbon.
