Anders Ødegård studied chemistry in Trondheim, Norway before he spent almost 5 years at Fraunhofer ISE in Freiburg researching fuel cells and obtained his PhD degree. Since 2005 he has continued research on hydrogen technologies at SINTEF in Norway, covering both fuel cells and electrolysers, from materials development up to large scale pilot projects. Dr. Dowen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics and the Department of Biology at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Her laboratory investigates the link between genome organization and gene expression. The Dowen lab uses functional genomics approaches to interrogate the proteins, DNA sequences, and mechanisms that connect transcriptional regulation and control of chromosome architecture.
