Peter Turnbaugh

Peter J. Turnbaugh, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology, the G.W. Hooper Research Foundation, and the Benioff Center for Microbiome Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He is also a CZ Biohub Investigator. For nearly two decades, his research has focused on the metabolic activities performed by the trillions of microbes that colonize our adult bodies. Yonghua Li-Beisson

Yonghua Li-Beisson is a Senior Scientist at CEA (the French Atomic and Alternative Energies Commission) and also at Aix-Marseille University. Currently she is the head of the team “microalgae and bioenergy” and also leading the European platform “HelioBiotec” at CEA Cadarache. Lucy Alexander is Engineering Specialist of International Programs for the AIChE Technical Entities, where she develops conferences, workshops, and webinars and supports communities in specialized topics of chemical and biological engineering. PJ Singh

PJ  earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from City College of NY with thesis in antifoam effects of oils. PJ first job was with Unilever, where he spent 10 years with increasing responsibilities within R&D.
