Nasim Annabi

Nasim Annabi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Annabi earned her BS and MS degrees in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. In 2010, she received a PhD in Chemical Engineering/Bioengineering from the University of Sydney (Australia). Arvind Varsani is a molecular virologist who works across ecosystems from plants to animals and from the tropics to the polar regions. His research uses a combination of traditional virology, microscopy (including transmission electron microscopy), molecular and cellular biology techniques in conjunction with modern sequencing techniques, synthetic biology and bioinformatics to characterize viruses and understand their dynamics.Read more

Patrick Rüdelsheim

After obtaining a PhD in biology (University of Antwerp, Belgium), he joined the biotechnology research department at D.J. Vanderhave B.V. In 1990 he moved to Plant Genetic Systems N.V., responsible for "Global Regulatory Affairs" and held this position following corporate changes in AgrEvo, Aventis CropScience and Bayer CropScience.
