NPT valves and fittings

Constructed from high-tensile Type 316 stainless steel, NPT valves and fittings in this product line are offered in two-way straight and two-way angle body configurations. Sizes for the valves, in inches, include 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and 1. Fittings are available as elbows, tees and crosses to accommodate either 10,000 or 15,000 psi and all the NPT tubing connection sizes.

Cardinal valves

To perform reliably under extreme operating conditions, the Cardinal valves are rated for temperatures ranging from –40°C (–40°F) to 100°C (212°F). All parts are made from non-corrosive or a suitably protected material to withstand outdoor exposure on external surfaces and hot transformer oil on internal surfaces. Cardinal valves are robust in design, so that over-tightening or minor abuse encountered in handling or during factory/field installation will not result in valve malfunction. The fasteners are designed to prevent loosening under normal operating conditions.

Triac F91 stainless-steel flanged ball valves

Ideal for oil field, refinery, chemical processing and other corrosive and caustic environments, the Triac F91 stainless-steel flanged ball valves feature rugged construction, solid unibody and patented pyramidal stem packing, while regular-port design minimizes cost and reduces operating torque. To save installation time and work, the valves have a patented direct-mount actuator pad and can be ordered pre-assembled with the manufacturer’s robust, weatherproof WE electric actuator for quarter-turn applications, or with pneumatic actuators in spring-return or double-acting configurations.

4000 Series (150 or 300 ANSI) flanged ball valve

The 4000 Series (150 or 300 ANSI) flanged ball valve is available in full-port or standard-port design. The body is available in carbon steel or stainless steel, and the trim (ball and stem) in Type 316 stainless steel. The series is fire-tested to API 607 4th edition and ISO 10497, and comes with TFM (modified PTFE) seats providing excellent high-temperature performance and chemical resistance. ISO 5211 direct-mounting with adjustable packing is a unique feature of the 4000 Series product line.

Series HGV hand-operated globe valves

An alternative to large and expensive automated control valve packages, the Series HGV hand-operated globe valves eliminate the hassle of actuator calibration and maintenance, and provide convenient manual control for quick adjustments and precise flow tuning. Models for line sizes up to 2 in. are available for on-off or throttling services. They are rated for pressures to 750 psi and temperatures to 1,200°F, and come in a variety of materials.

BVP80, BVP70, BVE80 and BVE70 Ball Valves

These ball valve packages combine three elements — the valve, an actuator designed to meet the torque requirements of the valve, and a mounting system that assures alignment and rigidity. The pneumatic actuators on the BVP80 and BVP70 models offer the latest technology for pneumatically actuating BV80 Series ball valves with NPT threads and BV70 Series with compression fittings. Spring-return models requiring only 50-psi supply air that can spring to open or closed without loss of output torque from the air-operated side are available.

CINTAC Advanced Automation System

The heart of the CINTAC Advanced Automation System is a rugged, field-proven rack-and-pinion actuator with ISO 5211 interface for compatibility with any quarter-turn valve. Position sensing is done by a contact-free magnetic resistive sensor with no mechanical parts or connections to wear out or bind. The unit is completely sealed and protected from corrosion and short-circuiting due to moisture. Leak-free integral air porting further improves the unit’s reliability by eliminating crimping or bending of tubing, leaking fittings, and worn or broken hoses.

Type 57 butterfly valve

New design features of the Type 57 butterfly valve include a flange stopper, which prevents overcompression in the valve liner, and a molded body absorption channel. These features work together to eliminate seat compression from effective stem torque, resulting in higher cycle life. A spherical disc provides increased flow characteristics and is less intrusive to piping systems. And, the valve is produced with the first all-plastic gear operator, Plasgear, which is standard on 8-in. through 14-in. models and an option on other sizes.

Type 375 true union ball valve

The Type 375 true union ball valve features an ergonomically designed grooved handle and notched union nut that make for easy gripping during installation and use. Its floating ball design provides leakproof closure, and the full cross-section results in minimal pressure loss. Available in polyvinyl chloride (PVC), chlorinated PVC (CPVC) and natural polypropylene (PP-n), the valve exhibits excellent chemical and corrosion resistance, and is pressure-rated to 225 psi at 73°F. The PVC/CPVC models range in size from 3/8 in. to 6 in.

Silbrade silicone hoses

Silbrade silicone hoses are reinforced with open-mesh polyester braiding so they can handle high-pressure applications. This construction allows the hoses to be used in tight, restricted spaces without impediments to flow. The hoses handle steady or fluctuating temperatures between –80°F and 350°F (–62°C and 176°C). Each hose is made from FDA-sanctioned ingredients and is listed by the National Sanitation Foundation for use with food equipment materials (NSF 51).
