Easidew two-wire transmitter

The improved Easidew two-wire transmitter is a low-cost, rugged dewpoint transmitter for continuous measurement in compressed air or process gas. The transmitter now has the ability to be connected in a two-wire, loop-powered configuration, while maintaining complete backward compatibility with all existing three-wire installations. It also offers an output that is configurable in ppmv moisture content (0–100, 0–1,000 and 0–3000 ppmv ranges).

Sensors and Instruments

More than 70 industrial applications where the company’s sensors and instruments are used for liquid analysis are featured on these five audio CDs, which are organized according to industries with similar measurements and applications: chemical and petro-refining; food and beverage/pharmaceutical; water/wastewater; pulp and paper/metals and mining; and power and semi-conductor. Each audio track describes an industrial process and how liquid instrumentation optimizes process performance. The CDs also address basic measurement theory, instrumentation and monitoring technologies.

Signet 8150 flow totalizer

Long-lasting, standard lithium batteries make the Signet 8150 flow totalizer ideal for remote or mobile installatioins where access to line power is limited. Because of its low-power-consumption design, these batteries are rated to last up to four years (nominal). The unit is offered with three totalizers — two are resettable for long-term and short-term monitoring, and the third is permanent. A large LCD display indicates both flowrate and total flow volume simultaneously. The 8150 is available in both integral and panel-mounted styles, and can be provided with NEMA 4X protection.

iCAP Series inductively coupled plasma (ICP) spectrometers

The iCAP Series inductively coupled plasma (ICP) spectrometers are said to be the smallest such instrument available on the market today. They feature a new close-coupled optical design with orthogonal optics, which increases the amount of light reaching the detector. The RACID86 fourth-generation charge injection device (CID) detector allows high-intensity signals to be read very rapidly, while lower-intensity signals are accumulated over a longer time. This ensures optimum signal-to-noise ratio and provides resistance to saturation.

OM-CP-FRTC4000A

The OM-CP-FRTC4000A, a miniature, wireless, battery-powered, standalone thermocouple-based temperature transmitter, sends readings back to its host computer, where the data can be analyzed in real-time. The readings are also logged into the device’s memory for added data security. Data are received at the PC using a receiver that attaches directly to the serial port. Numerous devices may transmit data to the same receiving station. All received data are date- and time-stamped and stored directly to the PC.

Chlorine Sensor

Designed with a removable and replaceable membrane cap for easy maintenance and long life, this sensor measures free chlorine at concentrations from 0.1 ppm to 10 ppm. It has an onboard circuit that allows it to be connected to any analytical millivoltmeter, eliminating the need to buy new equipment designed to work only with free-chlorine sensors. The sensor can be converted to measure total chlorine with a switch of the membrane and electrolyte, and comes standard with a temperature sensor to allow automatic temperature correction.

IPS Tempo Pump Control System

A pre-engineered, intelligent pump optimization, control and protection system, the IPS Tempo incorporates variable-frequency drive (VFD) technology, pump-specific optimization software, an industrial-grade electric drive, and an intuitive menu-driven user interface. It monitors process variables and pump power, and adjusts pump operations in response to flow, pressure, temperature and level changes. The system helps eliminate costly downtime and repairs caused by dry running, blocked lines, pump overloads, closed suction or discharge valves, cavitation, and excessive wear and rubbing.

X-STREAM analyzers

X-STREAM analyzers offer single- and dual-channel analysis using infrared, ultraviolet and visible (NDIR/UV/VIS) detectors, with paramagnetic and electrochemical oxygen senors, and thermal conductivity sensors. Three configurations are available: a rack-mounted or tabletop general-purpose model; a flameproof/explosionproof model (pictured) in a wall-mountable NEMA 4X/IP66 painted cast aluminum housing suitable for Class I, Zone 1, Group IIB + H2 hazardous areas; and a field-housing model in a NEMA 4X/IP66 painted stainless steel housing.

2600T safety pressure transmitter

According to this brochure, the 2600T safety pressure transmitter reduces the number of transmitters needed in SIL 2 and SIL 3 areas. The publication covers the transmitter’s functionality and principle of operation, and explains the significance of third-party certification by organizations such as TÜV. A bar chart compares the unit’s lifecycle costs to those of conventional transmitters, and a block diagram shows the functional modules that make up the transmitter’s diagnostic and redundant features.

Test Tools

This catalog provides detailed information on the features and specifications of the company’s full line of test tools, including three new products, the Ti20 thermal imager, 971 temperature/humidity meter, and 561 HVACPro thermometer. Selection guides and ordering information are also included.
