OneWireless Gauge Reader

The OneWireless Gauge Reader wirelessly monitors manual readings from existing dial gauges, allowing operators to analyze critical equipment-health and process information and make decisions that improve plant operations. The reader nonintrusively attaches to existing gauges without disrupting ongoing processes, and it is not necessary to remove old gauges, break pressure seals or run wires. The data it collects are displayed on both field devices and operator consoles in the control room.

Optimass 1300 straight-tube Coriolis mass meter

The Optimass 1300 straight-tube Coriolis mass meter records mass flow, density, temperature and concentration of liquids and gases. It combines the straight-tube technology of the Optimass 7000 with the dual-tube configuration of the Optimass 1000, and features an optimized flow splitter to minimize pressure loss. It meets FM Class 1, Div. 1 requirements for use in hazardous conditions. It is made of stainless steel, and is not affected by installation constraints or external influences.

UCL-520 Series ultrasonic level sensor

The UCL-520 Series ultrasonic level sensor is a two-wire transmitter that is built with a rugged polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) transducer so it can handle ultra-pure, corrosive and waste liquids. Its 3-in. minimum beam width permits easy installation in applications with limited space, and its minimum 8-in. deadband allows the maximum amount of media to fill the tank. The sensor is push-button-calibrated with a 6-segment liquid crystal display (LCD).

Microspec MCP-100 analyzer

The Microspec MCP-100 online real-time water-in-solvents analyzer offers considerable savings over current technologies. It can replace equipment in labs where personnel perform routine liquid-sample applications that require titration to determine the quantity of water in the sample — with the MCP-100, this measurement is performed continuously.

Micro Motion 7835 Series density meters

Micro Motion 7835 Series density meters reduce project and installation costs in hazardous areas because they require neither barriers nor galvanic isolators. They are certified as explosionproof and flameproof, making them suitable for custody-transfer and fiscal applications in the oil and gas industries; they can also be used for routine control applications in chemical and other processing industries. The units provide high-accuracy measurements and require little maintenance.

Sitrans LVL100 and LVL200 vibratory switches

Sitrans LVL100 and LVL200 vibratory switches indicate when the level of a liquid is sufficiently high or when a vessel needs to be refilled. They are equipped with an extremely reliable piezo actuator, and are suitable for high temperatures. If the electronics system detects damage or corrosion, the fail-safe switches trigger an alarm. The switches are compact and user-friendly, and can measure reliably even under changing conditions, such as when there are variations in the dielectric permit-tivity of a medium or upon the formation of vapor or bubbles.

KSonic Micro

The KSonic Micro is a compact, low-cost, ultrasonic level transmitter/ switch that is designed for liquid and bulk solids level applications. Ultrasonic measurements are based on the time of flight (TOF) of an acoustic wave that is emitted from a transducer and directed toward the product being measured. This wave is reflected back toward the transducer and then converted to an electric signal.

Traceable infrared thermometer

The Traceable infrared thermometer can take readings on any surface, including solids, semi-solids, and liquids. Its non-invasive, non-contact measurements make it suitable for food preparation, life science, pharmaceutical, petroleum, clean room, electronics, and field applications. Each unit has an individually serial-numbered Traceable certificate indicating ISO 17025 accreditation and compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceability standards.

Type A-10 industrial pressure transmitter

The Type A-10 industrial pressure transmitter is designed to withstand harsh operating conditions, such as shock and heavy vibration. Its construction is resistant to mechanical damage and eliminates stress on the pins of the piezo-sensor. With few sources of potential error, the failure rate is reduced to a minimum. The transmitter is easy to set up and operate, and is suitable for use in hydraulics/pneumatics, pumps and compressors.

Pulp and Paper Industry Flow Guide

The 8-page “Pulp and Paper Industry Flow Guide” offers advice on air, gas and liquid measurement, monitoring and control using the company’s thermal dispersion mass-flow technology. It describes the no-moving-parts, fully temperature-compensated sensor design and outlines the instruments’ benefits.
