UV15-7HP is a low-viscosity, ultraviolet (UV) curable adhesive system. The optimal bond line thickness for adhesion is between 0.001 in. and 0.003 in.; the adhesive can also be cured in sections up to 0.125 in. thick, making it suitable for bonding, sealing, coating, and encapsulation. The easy-to-apply, one-part adhesive has a tensile strength of 6,000–7,000 psi and a tensile modulus of 250,000–300,000 psi at room temperature. This toughened system resists thermal cycling and offers significant elongation of 5–10%. The adhesive can bond to many substrates, including glass, ceramics, metals, and many plastics, such as polycarbonates, acrylics, and polyester films.
