

Pyrolysis oil has become an important part of the circular plastics story, offering a convenient way to convert post-consumer waste and other waste polymer streams into a liquid capable of substituting virgin steam cracker feedstocks for the production of new polymers. However, producing and processing pyrolysis oil is not without its challenges. In this paper we present several of these topics, identifying not only the pitfalls but also offering potential solutions
