Trash Bash 2018 at the Armand Bayou Nature Center Please join SPE-GCS Young Professionals in their support of environmental stewardship with the Armand Bayou Nature Center. Founded in 1974, the ABNC is one of the largest urban wildlife refuge in the United States. Every March, thousands of people in the Houston/Galveston area gather to clean tons of trash from our waterways. The mission of Trash Bash is to promote environmental stewardship of our watershed through public education by utilizing hands-on educational tools and by developing partnerships between environmental, governmental, and private organizations. Volunteers will help clean the waterways by picking up trash.
