Mid-Michigan AIChE to Hold Spring Banquet
Featuring Guest Speaker Mark Weick
Mark your calendar! The Mid-Michigan Section of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) cordially invites you to attend the annual Spring Banquet on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Great Hall Convention Center in Midland. Our special guest speaker for the evening will be Mark Weick.
Mark Weick currently serves as Director of Sustainability and Enterprise Risk Management at The Dow Chemical Company. In this role, Mark directs the coordinated planning and implementation of the 2025 Sustainability Goals, as well as sustainability integration across the company and business units. Weick is also responsible for directing Dow’s Enterprise Risk Management efforts. Weick also leads Dow’s engagement with The Nature Conservancy in the Dow-TNC global collaboration on ecosystem services and biodiversity.
Mark will be addressing how the chemical engineering profession is vital to creating more sustainable processes and products to preserve the planet for generations to come.

Agenda: 5:30 – 6:00 p.m., Social time with cash bar
6:00 – 7:55 p.m., Dinner and awards program
8:00 – 8:45 p.m., Mark Weick, Key Note Speaker
Menu: Buffet dinner with two entrees:
• Herbed, breaded chicken breast parmesan
• Roast sirloin of beef with red wine jus
• Plus four-cheese potatoes au-gratin, seasonal medley of vegetables, brown sugar glazed carrots
• Greek salad, classic Caesar salad, Italian pasta salad with marinated vegetables
Cost: $30 per person for members and one guest per member, $40 per person for non-members.

Please pay at the door the evening of the event – with cash or a check made out to Mid-Michigan AIChE.
Note: if you make reservations but then do not attend the event, AIChE will still need to charge you for the cost of the dinner to recover our costs.
