Since there again cannot be a Fellows Breakfast at the virtual Spring Meeting, AIChE and the Fellows Council have arranged another virtual gathering to maintain our traditions of connecting and engaging with peers, honoring new and long-time Fellows, and learning more about the status of the Institute and recent AIChE programs. As before, there will be breakouts for interaction activity among the attendees.
The best thing is that because we will be online, ALL Fellows around the globe can attend!
The event will be hosted on Zoom and a Zoom link to the meeting will be sent out beforehand to all who have pre-registered. For those attending the Virtual 2021 Spring Meeting – you will also be able to access this Zoom link through the vFairs conference platform under Networking Events. REGISTRATION LINK COMING SOON!
Part of the event program includes 25-minute breakout discussions facilitated by members of your Fellows Council. The intent is to further engage Fellows in activities and needs of AIChE entities.
The breakouts will have different themes: The Fellows Task Force for Student Chapters; Fellow Nominations; Tools for Fellow Volunteering in AIChE; Foundation Task Force. On the registration form, you are to indicate your preferences for themes. Assignments will be made automatically at the beginning of the activity, taking into account your preferences and the number of breakout participants. After 15 minutes, attendees will be able to move to another breakout room.
We look forward to bringing our Fellows community together, as we “see” and connect with you online at 11:00 AM Central Time, April 20.
